Patch becomes J100 event sponsor

We’re pleased to announce Patch, which is opening local news sites across the country, as an event sponsor for our centennial program.
The operation, owned by AOL, has been hiring journalists across the country as it launches new sites. MSU has ties to at least three of its regional editors: Nancy Hanus, a visiting J-School professor is regional editor of Patch’s Detroit operation; alum Holly Edgell is regional editor in St. Louis and alum Tara Tesimu, a centennial event speaker, is regional editor in Chicago.
